French courses at Alliance Française de Montréal are aligned with the CEFR levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 & C2.
These levels are divided into sub-levels (A1.1, A1.2, A1.3...). Each sub-level corresponds to a given set of language skills.

Our French courses are :
- in-person or online,
- for adults of all ages,
- for all levels (A1 to C2),
- in group or mini-group,
- in private.

Our French levels:
- are based on the proficiency levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR),
- require a total of between 100 and 120 hours of French lessons. After each session, one of our advisors will offer you a personalized assessment and suggest that you continue with a course at the same level or move up to another level.
Our schedules are flexible:
- during the week: morning, noon, afternoon, evening, and Saturday morning,
- 1 to 6 times a week depending on your needs,
- from 60 to 120 minutes or based on your preferences.
