Which exam should I take?
L'Alliance Française de Montréal can't answer this question. It is up to the candidate to do the research.
Do you have exams preparation courses?
We offer preparation courses for TEF, TCF, DELF B2 and DALF C1, free webinars and preparation tools.
Can I come in person at l'Alliance Française de Montréal to register for exams or courses?
Sorry, the registration is only online.
When will I receive my exam notification and my arrival time?
If you have registered and paid to take the exams, you will receive an invitation 7 days in advance by email specifying the date and time of the exam.
Can you put me on the waiting list for the next exam?
We don't have waiting list. If places become available, they will be posted on our website.
I made a mistake in the date of my exam or in the choice of my exam.
We invite you to send an email to info@afmontreal.ca indicating the name of your exam and the date of your exam. We will make the modification within the limit of available places and according to the conditions of modification.
I would like to cancel my registration for the exam.
We invite you to send an email to info@afmontreal.ca indicating the name of your exam and the date of your exam. A fee of $75 will be retained (as specified in our general conditions of sale). If the cancellation occurs less than 15 days before the exam, we can only change the exam date if you provide a medical certificate or a note from your employer.
What documents must be provided to take the exam?
We require a valid form of identification with photo, in Latin characters (passport, Quebec driver’s license or other Canadian Provinces, RAMQ card, etc.) .
How are the oral and written tests conducted?
The multiple choice tests (written comprehension, oral comprehension, lexicon & structure) and the written expression test are taken on a computer. The oral expression is led face-to-face by an examiner and will also be recorded for correction purposes.
When will I receive my test results?
It takes 2 to 6 weeks to get the results. Certificates are sent directly to the email address provided during registration. We are unable to interpret the results.
Can test results be contested?
Yes you can disagree with the results. You can contact us at info@afmontreal.ca .
