Cultural events

L’Alliance Française de Montréal in collaboration with the Consulate General of France in Quebec, the Center of the Francophonie of the Americas, Francophonie without frontiers and the CINEMANIA Francophone Film Festival, the International Day of the Francophonie on March 20, 2024 in Montreal.
This day will bring together all lovers of the French language, enthusiasts of French-speaking culture and the curious eager to discover the multiple facets of this rich linguistic diversity. Special programming will highlight the richness of the French language through a series of cultural, artistic and educational activities.
We invite you to join us for this memorable day which will strengthen cultural ties within our French-speaking community.
17h30 : Film screening
Phil Comeau, famous Acadian director, will present his documentary film "The Secret Order" which will be broadcast on the big screen.
19h : discussion group
Christophe Brayet, Director General of the Alliance Française de Montréal, will bring together on stage a panel of experts made up of the co-organizers of the evening to lead a discussion on the theme "The cultural faces of the Francophonie in Quebec":

20h : musical cocktail
A musical cocktail will be offered with a performance by the artist Ariana Nasr who will offer a journey around the world with the most beautiful French-speaking songs.
