Assess your French proficiency in just 30 minutes and leave with a clear idea of what to do next. The assessment includes a 20-minute oral test, followed by a 10-minute counseling session with an academic advisor.

- You know your level: Choose your course package directly at afmontreal.ca, pay online, and our team will contact you to provide the details of your first class as well as information about your instructor.
- If you don't know your level: Start by selecting a Language Needs Assessment. Based on the results and recommendations from our teaching team, you can then choose the course package that's right for you.
The ELO Simulation is an individual language assessment (online or in person).
- The purchase is valid for one service visit and is strictly personal and non-transferable.
- If you would like to take the assessment a second time, you will need to purchase a new scenario on our website.
Yes! The amount paid for your ELO Scenario will be fully deducted from the registration fee for your future course session, provided that this session is purchased and paid for no later than 3 months after the date of purchase of your assessment.
- Once payment has been made, you will receive a reservation link via email
(be sure to check your spam/junk mail folders).
- Choose the time slot that works best for you (online or in person).
- On the day of the event (if online): Log in to the Microsoft Teams at least 5 minutes in advanceto make sure your microphone and camera are working properly.
- Rescheduling: You may request to reschedule your practical exam for a later date, provided you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
- Late Cancellation: No rescheduling or cancellation will be granted if the request is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time.
In the event of a no-show (no-show) or if you are late on the day of your appointment without at least 24 hours’ notice:
- The scenario is considered to be definitively lost and over.
- No refunds will be issued.
