Before starting the test, I make sure I have :
- 30 minutes undisturbed
- A computer or tablet
- A web browser (preferably Chrome) and a stable Internet connection (minimum 2 Mbps)
- Headphones or loudspeakers for listening comprehension / oral production
- A microphone for oral expression
- Quiet, peaceful surroundings

- I order my ELAO test directly on the website.
- I receive my access code within 24 to 48 hours (I remember to check my spam).
- I get my results instantly and download my certificate.
- I pay attention to the oral expression module: I will be focusedI’ll think hard about the question, so as to produce a rich, detailed answer that draws on as many language elements as possible, especially if I’m aiming for level C (C1 or C2)
Terms and conditions of sale
- I understand that an ELAO test (assessment of listening comprehension, active and passive vocabulary and grammatical structures) costs 39.99 CAD. A purchased license is valid for a single online test. It is non-transferable.
- I understand that to get reliable results that are as close as possible to my level, I need to take the test in a calm, quiet environment, with a good internet connection.
- I understand that once the test has started, I can’t suspend it.
- I understand that the level indicated on the evaluation report does not guarantee validation of this level in an official French exam.
- I understand that no refunds are possible.
- If I wish to retake a level evaluation test, I will have to pay for one at afmontreal.ca.
